An investigation is underway after a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Jan. 1, leaving one person dead and seven others injured, according to local authorities.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the valet area of the hotel at approximately 8:40 a.

Flight instructor Yankele Friedman, 32, was killed. The second passenger, Kalmen Goldberger, 26, remains in serious condition, perCBS News. No one on the ground was hurt.
The plane departed from Linden, N.J., and was en route to the Westchester County Airport in West Harrison, N.Y. Friedman reported the aircraft started having engine issues while it was heading to the airport.

One person is dead and several are hospitalized after two planes collided on a runway at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday, Feb. 10.
At 2:39 p.m. local time, a midsize jet that was arriving at the airport collided with another jet that was “parked on private property,” Kelli Kuester, aviation planning and outreach coordinator at the Scottsdale Airport, said in a statement shared with PEOPLE.

The two children, as well as a 40-year-old woman, were found “stabbed to death” when police responded to “a domestic disturbance call” at a home in Amite at around 4:39 p.m. local time on Thursday, Jan, 9, the St. Helena Sheriff’s Office said in anews release.
Ryant Jones, 31, was named as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder.

Scott A. Marcov, 30, and Madelyn A. Marcov, 28, were arrested Tuesday and charged with neglect or abandonment of a dependent person, according toKALB.
Another child allegedly saw what had happened and carried the child to the couple while calling for help.
