A giraffe at the Reid Park Zoo in Tucson, Arizona, decided to familiarize herself with the neighborhood.

The zoo’s animal care and veterinary teams persuaded Msituni to return to her habitat with additional snacks and treats. “We were very lucky that she was calm; it was very easy,” added Kluge.
According to KGUN 9, this was the first time this type of incident had occurred at the Reid Park Zoo.

A mother of a newborn found wrapped in a plastic bag in the Georgia woods in 2019 has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Karima Jiwani, 41, will also serve 15 years of probation following her release after pleading guilty on Thursday, Feb. 13, to criminal attempt to commit murder and first-degree cruelty to children.
The child was in good condition and weighed 6 lbs, 5 oz,FOX 5reported.

A Florida mom died and her kids were injured after their minivan collided with a dump truck.
A 50-year-old Homosassa woman was driving the minivan when the crash occurred, according to the outlets. Her three children, a 16-year-old girl, a 15-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, were also inside the vehicle.
According to a statement from school officials, Jackson was a “beloved” social studies teacher at Lecanto Middle School and had previously worked at the high school as a paraprofessional.

A youth pastor was killed in a recent shark attack near the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
Luke Walford, 40, from Rockhampton in Queensland, was spearfishing with his family at Humpy Island in the Keppel Bay Islands National Park when a shark attacked him around 4:30 p.m. local time on Saturday, Dec. 28, according to theBBC.
Apolice reportstates that Walford suffered “life-threatening injuries and succumbed to those injuries” at the popular location for diving and snorkeling just before 6 p.
