The water animal, known as a “doomsday fish,” was spotted at Playa El Quemado in Baja California Sur on Sunday, Feb. 9, perMen’s Journal. “That’s an oarfish. Holy s—, they’ve almost never been seen live,” one man is heard saying in the clip.

The hiker, described as “an experienced outdoorswoman,” disappeared on Tuesday, March 11, while exploring the Big Maria Mountains in the unincorporated area near Blythe, theRiverside County Sheriff’s Officesaid in a news release. That friend contacted the Riverside County Sheriff’s dispatch after not hearing from the hiker for about five hours.

'Experienced' Skydiver Dies in Arizona, the 3rd Fatality from Same Company Within a Month

A skydiver has died during a descent in Arizona, authorities said, marking the third parachuting fatality connected to the company within the last month. The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office said in an email to PEOPLE that deputies responded to the Skydive Arizona facility in Eloy following reports of an injured skydiver on Sunday, Feb. 16. “A 47-year-old was located near the facility,” the sheriff’s office said. “He died at the scene.
