19-Year-Old Woman 'Repeatedly Assaulted' at Home by Other Teens and Made to Walk Outside ‘Partially Clothed,’ Police Say

Policein Ohio are searching for suspects after a 19-year-old woman was stripped of her clothes and attacked last month.

The Akron Police Department in Ohio told PEOPLE in a statement that officers responded to a report of an assault — involving a 19-year-old woman who was not identified — on Beardsley Street, located approximately 42 miles south of Cleveland, on Friday, Dec. 27.

He told the outlet that the 19-year-old was eventually able to escape and ran out of the home seeking help on the street without any clothes — something Miller described as “humiliating.”

One person — identified as 18-year-old Kendell Worthy — was arrested on charges of kidnapping, robbery and assault in connection with the incident, police confirmed to PEOPLE.

“This may not even, in fact, be limited to just three people that participated in the assault,” he said. “There may have been some other people with knowledge or perspective that the detectives may want to talked to. We want to hold, in the end, any and everyone responsible."
