Four teenagers have been cited in connection with the violent death of a coyote in Chicago, authorities said.
Officers were called to the scene in the city’s Mt. Greenwood neighborhood on Jan. 11 after witnesses reported seeing multiple boys allegedly abusing a coyote, Chicago police told localABC7.
According to the ICP, four boys between the ages of 16 and 17 were cited for unlawfully hunting without supervision, unlawfully hunting on lands without permission of the owner, unlawfully hunting within 100 yards of a home and unlawful abandonment of a wildlife carcass on private property without permission, the outlets report.
