Amy Adamsand her husband,Darren Le Gallo, are living an enchanted life with their daughter, Aviana.

“The journey since the moment she was born is finding out who she is,who she wants to be,” Adams told Australia’sThe Projectwhile promotingDisenchantedin 2022.

TheDear Evan Hansenstar opened up toMarie Clairein 2018 about parenting with Le Gallo, whom she married in 2015. “It’s sexy to see him raising a girland teaching her how a man should treat her in a lovely way,” she said.

While raising Aviana, the six-time Oscar nominee has become a Hollywood heavyweight, starring in films likeThe Fighter,The Master andAmerican Hustle. In 2017, she earned a star on theHollywood Walk of Fame.

During the ceremony cementing her place in history, the mother of one toldEntertainment Tonightthat she hopes to be a source of inspiration for her daughter.

“I want [Aviana] to know that it is not just women that can soar, she can soar and she needs to find her own light. I know she is on that path,” she explained. “That is something that I need to remind her. No light that shines on me creates a shadow for her to stand in.”

Shortly after giving birth, she opened up about how her relationship with her body changed.

“Being pregnant finally helped me understand what my true relationship was with my body — meaning that it wasn’t put on this earth to look good in a swimsuit,” Adams toldParadein December 2010.

She is named after her mom’s birthplace

TheSharp Objectsstar and Le Gallo paid homage to Adams' birthplace of Aviano, Italy, while choosing their daughter’s name.

“We had picked out a whole bunch of other names as well and we had thrown around Aviana, but I was into more traditional names and thought that we would go that direction,” she said during a visit to theRachael Ray Showin 2010. “But, when she was born we just kept calling her, ‘Avi, Avi, Avi.’ "

She’s made cameos in her parents’ films

While Adams and Le Gallo try to maintain their daughter’s privacy, they let her step into the spotlight on their respective projects.

When Adams was filming the Disney sequelDisenchanted, her daughter joined her on set, where she made a cameo in the 2022 musical fantasy film.

“We were in really strict COVID restrictions, so if we wanted to spend the day I had to invite her to be in the movie,” she said during an appearance onThe Late Late Show with James Corden.

“So she walks through the market and sort of gazes longingly at a dragonfruit, and her mother pulls her away. It was really great,” Adams added.

Now that she’s getting older, Adams said that Aviana has “no interest” in acting as a career during a December 2024 appearance onLive with Kelly and Mark.

“If it feeds her soul and she loves it, I’m here for it,” she said. “But so far, she has no interest.”

She has an eye for detail

Being on theDisenchantedsetwhile her momreprised her role as Gisellegave Aviana a new perspective on how films are made and the attention to detail that is required, especially when tracking continuity.

“When you’re working on film, you have to do something the same over and over, and she got really strict about it,” Adams shared while appearing onThe Late Late Show with James Corden.

“It was one of her favorite things to learn about. She likes to point out continuity errors now,” she continued.

HostJames Cordenjoked that Aviana might go through her mom’s old movies to spot the errors. “That would be really fun actually,” the actress said.

She quit ballet despite her mom’s best efforts

“It was like 30 seconds after she turned 10, she was like, ‘Are we good? Have I done it?’ “Adams saidonLate Night with Seth Meyersin 2021.

She noted that her daughter has “beautiful feet that would’ve been great for ballet.”

“Nothing would make me want to dance less than if my parents told me I had beautiful feet. I think you might have creeped her right out,“Seth Meyersquipped.

“I think I did it wrong,” Adams joked.

She’s “wonderfully musical”

Even though she shied away from ballet, Aviana is drawn to other art forms. During a 2021 appearance onThe Kelly Clarkson Show, Adams revealed that her daughter is “wonderfully musical,” noting that she plays the bass guitar and drums.

“She’s so cool. She’s much cooler than I ever was and am,“The Woman in the Windowstar said, perToday.

Apart from learning instruments, Aviana also challenges herself as a performer.

She enjoys art

When she turned 11 years old, Le Gallo posted a birthday tributeon Instagramand revealed that she had a special request.

“One of her BDay wishes was to go to the Art Gallery that re-opened today in Ireland 🇮🇪,” he wrote alongside a series of photos, including Aviana sitting on a bench in front of an art exhibit.

She also stepped out with her mom tosupport her dad’s exhibition openingat theTrigg Ison Fine Art galleryin L.A. in 2020.

While appearing on theLate Show with Seth Meyersin 2021, Adams revealed that she started learning TikTok dances, specifically the “Fancy Like” oneWalker Hayescreated with his daughter.

Meyers asked if she could show off some of the moves from it, to which she replied, “I can try,” before singing the chorus and hitting the signature choreography.

“That’s not embarrassing at all for my daughter, what I just did,” Adams said. “I think the word she uses is ‘cringe,’ but she’s patient with me. I’ve been embarrassing her for 11 great years, and more to come.”

She made her red carpet debut at the Toronto International Film Festival

In September 2024, Avianawalked her first red carpetwhile attending the premiere of her mom’s filmNightbitchat the Toronto International Film Festival.

“I think what I want her to know about my experience of motherhood is how much she’s enriched my life and made me the woman that I am today,” Adams told PEOPLE while speaking about her daughter at TIFF. “I tell her that all the time, but it’s true and I’m glad that she’s here tonight to get to celebrate with me.”
