As the long-awaitedthirdPrincess Diariesmoviegets underway, Hathaway, 42, showed off a stunningly regal look in Shanghai that Queen Clarisse would certainly approve of.
At the opening ceremony of Bvlgari Infinity Serpents Exhibition on Wednesday, Jan. 8, the actress — who is an ambassador for the jewelry brand — shined in a metallic gold ball gown and dazzling jewels.
Hathaway’s dress featured a structured bodice and voluminous skirt that barely fell just short of her ankles, showing off her matching metallic pumps.

At the center of the glamorous look was an intricate serpent necklace, the brand’s trademark design.
Hathaway also posed with actress Liu Yifei, who opted for a black strapless gown with a sheer bodice and floral embroidery. Yifei, 37, wore her own serpent necklace, plus a matching bracelet.
