Ariana Grande Makes Generous Christmas Donation to Children at Manchester Hospitals 7 Years After Tragedy

Ariana Grandeis giving back this holiday season.

TheManchester Foundation Trust Charityshared on Instagramon Monday, Dec. 23 that theWickedstar made a generous donation to children across Manchester’s hospital network.

“Thank you @arianagrande! ✨✨✨,” the charity wrote online. “We are so grateful to Ariana for thinking of our young patients this Christmas.”

“The gifts she has donated are being distributed to babies, children and teenagers across Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Trafford General Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital. @mftnhs.”

The Instagram post featured pictures of patients receiving brightly wrapped gifts and adults handing them out. Grande, 31,previously donated gifts to the hospital system in 2022.

The “thank u, next” singer has remainedconnected to Manchestersince theMay 2017 suicide bombingthat occurred after one of her concerts during her Dangerous Woman Tour. The tragedykilled 22 peopleand injured hundreds of others, perCNN.

Embracing the holiday spirit in many ways, Grande also released a live performance her Christmas pop hit"Santa Tell Me"on Dec. 23 as part of a series promoting herEternal Sunshinealbum.

“Celebrating ten years of Santa Tell Me!” Grande wrote on her Instagram Stories with the clip, which dropped onYouTube. “Thank you so much for all the love you have shown this record over the past decade. Wishing you all a happy happy holiday!”

The same day, the song also reached theBillboardHot 100’s top 10 at No. 9 for the first time since it was released in November 2014.

Grande doesn’t perform the festive hit live often. When the song was first released, she sang it at multiple 2014 events, includingZ100’s Jingle BallandDisney Parks’FrozenChristmas Celebration.
