Artem Chigvintsev Shares First Instagram Post with Son Matteo, 4, Since Divorce from Nikki Garcia

On Monday, Dec. 23, theDancing with the Starspro, 42, shared his first grid post on Instagram since Aug. 4, posting aReelfilled with black-and-white photos of the dancer and his 4-year-old son Matteo, whom he shares with exNikki Garcia, 41.

In the sweet photos, the father-son duo can be seen laughing and smiling together, hanging out with one another on thecouch.

“❤️,” Chigvinstev simply captioned the post, letting the photos speak for themselves.

“At this time, Mr. Chigvintsev will not comment on any pending proceeding,” said Chigvintsev’s attorney Ilona Antonyan. “The parties are focused on co-parenting and working together for the best interests of their son.”

In November, a rep for Garcia confirmed to PEOPLE thatthe former couple settled their divorcein a private mediation and would not be going to court.

Details of the settlement were unclear but “both parties decided to drop the domestic violence restraining orders against each other in an effort to move on with their lives and effectively co-parent their son,” the rep said in a statement.

“Nikki’s number one priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter,” the rep continued. “She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time.”
