On Wednesday, Jan. 22, Amazon MGM Studios debuted the first look at Affleck, 52, and Bernthal, 48, inThe Accountant 2, a sequel to their 2016 action filmThe Accountant.
J. K. Simmonsalso reprises his role as Ray King, director of the Treasury department’s financial crimes bureau
The film will have its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival on March 8, then it’ll be in theaters April 25.

Anna Kendrick, Jeffrey Tambor, Jean Smart and John Lithgow, who all appeared in the first film, will not reprise their roles here. The original film followed Christian’s upbringing and his estrangement from Brax as they grow up. Bernthal appears as a hitman throughout the movie and is revealed to be Christian’s brother as an adult in its climax.
