Comedian Kabir Singh, a semifinalist on season 16 ofAmerica’s Got Talent,has died. He was 39 years old.
Singh died on Wednesday, Dec. 4, his fiancée confirms with PEOPLE, adding a broken heart emoji.
TMZwas first to report. A toxicology was conducted to determine how he died, per the outlet.
Insiders told TMZ that Singh had been dealing with health concerns and authorities suspect he died of natural causes. The comic was said to be in San Francisco at the time of his death.
PEOPLE reached out to the San Francisco Police Department for comment.
Singh’s friend, Jeremy Curry, mourned the loss onFacebookThursday, Dec. 5. He shared a picture of the two smiling together and wrote that the late comedian “passed away peacefully in his sleep.”
