The company that hosted the event whereinfluencer Dominque Brown reportedly died of an allergic reactionis speaking out for the first time.
“As we’ve shared with the media, the BoxLunch Collective members, and everyone else we have been in contact with, we will do everything possible to support Dominique’s family, her loved ones, the Collective, and our team members during this painful time," the statement continued.

BoxLunch also confirmed in the statement that the company is “in the process of conducting an investigation into the tragic circumstances of her passing, which occurred at a BoxLunch event hosted at a venue in Los Angeles.”
“We have not yet received the information we requested from the operators of the event venue to get an accurate and detailed account of the night. As we learn more, we plan to share this information with Dominique’s family,” the company continued.
“While we know that there are no words or actions that will fully heal anyone’s pain, we will do all we can to honor Dominique,” the statement concluded.

A BoxLunch representative initially told PEOPLE in a statement on Dec. 7 that Brown “suffered a medical emergency” at the event.
“Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we will do everything we can to support them and the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team during this painful time,” the representative added.

Someone who claimed to know Brown wrote onX (formerly Twitter)that she had “asked if there was peanuts in the food and everyone told her no” and “instantly felt bad” after consuming it.
Brown’s last post onInstagram, shared on the day before her death on Dec. 4, was a clip of her visiting a Disney Store.
