Wade Bowen’s tour bus was involved in an accident.
“I’m so blessed to have the band and crew I do,” he continued. “Everyone came together and figured out how to make it to our next show in Lubbock and pull off a magical night. And a huge shoutout to Lubbock, TX for all of the people that came to our rescue with the gear and instruments we needed to make it happen.”

The Texas native then noted, “In spite of everything, we had one of my favorite shows ever in the town that started it all for me.”

“Thank you to all of the police officers, firemen, tow truckers, and everyone that took good care of us and our situation,” added Bowen. “We are very lucky… to be safe and also to live this life! Call your mom.”
The “Songs About Trucks” musician has upcoming shows scheduled in Portland, Texas on March 28 and Marble Falls, Texas on March 29. He’s also set to open for Chase Rice for several dates on his upcoming Go Down Singin' International Tour.

Bowen’s tenth studio albumFlyin’was released last May. In a March 2024 interviewwith PEOPLE, he opened up about approaching te project differently from his previous work.
“I feel like I had a little bit more freedom with this album because I feel like people are more prone to listen toindividualsongs a little bit more than theyeverhas,” he said at the time. “I let [the songs] breathe and let them be its own thing a little more than I’ve ever done with the previous albums.”
