Daphne Zunigais clued into what theMelrose Placefandom likes.
While co-hosting theStill the Placerewatch podcast, the actress (who played Jo on the beloved 90s drama) spoke about some of the show’s more far-fetched storylines. Known for its schemes and complicated relationship dynamics, some plot points were even a lot for the cast to digest.
“We enjoy the drama, but this is when the world loved the show — when it was so over the top. They loved it,” she said.
Fellow co-hostLaura Leighton, who played Sydney on theBeverly Hills, 90210spinoff, agreed.
“A lot of the times, I would ask myself, ‘Oh my gosh, really? Is this … I mean, isn’t this over the top?'” she said. “Then somehow it managed to be exactly what the audience wanted.

Zuniga shared that"everyone has agreed to do it,“and they were in the process of sorting out the business and legal angles of the show. “The stars need to align, but we want it as much as the fans want it,” Leighton added.
