The Hollywood star, who has been on screens for more than 50 years, posed for a rare photo withall of his childrenas he celebrated his 75th birthday on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Johnson looked ready to go celebrate as he sat wearing a fedora hat, scarf and coat for the snap taken on a staircase embellished with Christmas decorations.
“My Kids are my Everything!!! Happy Birthday to me!!!” he captioned the snap, posted onInstagram.

“How beautiful this is!!! FAMILY is everything. Happy Birthday Don ♥️♥️♥️,” Griffith, 67, wrote in a comment on the post.
Johnson considers Griffith’s son Alexander, whom she shares with actorSteven Bauer, one of his own, having officially adopted him when he was married to Griffith.Stella Banderas, Griffith’s daughter with exAntonio Banderas, is also often pictured smiling at family occasions.

Johnson, who was aHollywood heartthrob in the 1980s, previously credited the birth of his son Jesse in 1982 for helping to change his life after battling with drug and alcohol addiction.
When his youngest son was born in 2006, he raved toOK! Magazinethat it was“no less exciting” than the first timehe became a father.
“I love kids, so it’s more good times, more joy, and more fun,” Johnson said.

Speaking to PEOPLE earlier this year, Johnson confessed to being “sad” that all of his children are out of the house.
The actor also revealed that he’s mindful of maintaining a work-life balance thatallows for quality time with his familyalongside his acting work after more than five decades in show business.
“I’m at a place now where I can pick and choose, and that’s why I’ve picked things that are sometimes more supporting roles,” he said. “Because I still like doing what I do, and I still get the same joy out of it, but I just don’t want to work those long hours and be away from my family.”
