A female driver was killed and a male passenger was seriously injured in a fiery Tesla crash in New York City, authorities said.
First responders arrived at the scene on FDR Drive at E. 75th St. to find the two occupants had been ejected from the white electric vehicle, police said.
Investigators at the scene determined that the northbound Tesla struck a wall and the driver likely lost control of the vehicle. On impact, the car then caught on fire.
