Elle Fanning Got Ready with Sister Dakota for the 2025 Golden Globes—and They Brought Their Grandmother!

Elle Fanning’s appearance at the2025 Golden Globesis a family affair.

During a red carpet interview on E!, the 26-year-old star revealed that her sisterDakota, 30, and their grandmother all prepared for the night together.

“We got ready together — all in the same room,” said Elle. “Our grandmother is here tonight as Dakota’s date.”

Elle stars in theBob DylanbiopicA Complete Unknown, and Dakota is nominated for her performance in the thriller seriesRipley. “I hope she wins,” said Elle. “Tonight is so special.”

The pair found their shared love of acting together at a young age,performing scenes around their house, plus they now share their own production company, Lewellen Pictures.

The siblings were raised in Conyers, Ga., and in September 2020Vanity Fairinterview, Elle said her grandmother makes the best sweet tea. The same month, Elle wished her grandmother ahappy birthday on Instagram, calling her the “best grandma in the world” — and noting that she has the “world’s greatest hair.”
