Eric McCormack Is Out to Find a Killer Among Crash Survivors inNine Bodies in a Mexican MorgueTrailer (Exclusive)

Mar. 15, 2025

McCormack, 61, plays a man named Kevin, who is riding in a small plane along with eight other passengers. As the clip begins, he declares, “I hate flying,” while contemplating whether he’s safer flying in a small plane like the one he’s in, or riding in a large aircraft.

“They both come down at the same speed,” another passenger responds.

Just then, the plane goes down and lands in the Mexican jungle. One of the military members who finds the plane realizes that they have 10 passports for the 10 passengers who were on the plane, but only nine bodies.

After the remaining passengers find themselves stranded in what one deems “the middle of nowhere,” David Ajala’s Zack suggests, “It might help if we all knew a little bit about each other.”

But not everyone likes that idea. “Let’s all assume the worst of each other,” Kevin says. “’Cause that’s helpful.”

The body count only continues to drop. “Two bodies, two days,” Zack observes.

That leads the group to believe there’s a killer among them and they must figure out why somebody wants them dead. The story unfolds in flashbacks, introducing the survivors as they fight against the heat, a shortage of supplies, the dangers of the jungle and each other. Tensions run high until the truth — and the killer’s identity — are finally revealed.

McCormack knows fans still think of him as the gay lawyer from the hit sitcom — and he’s working to change that, despite how beloved the sitcom character is.
