PresidentDonald Trump’s second son marriedLara Trumpin 2014 after dating for six years. Three years later, the two announced they were expecting their first child together, and in September 2017, theywelcomed Luke.

Lara announced her second pregnancy in April 2019,welcoming the couple’s first daughter, Carolina, four months later. Luke and Carolina are Trump’s 9th and 10th grandchildren, and also his youngest afterDonald Trump Jr.’s five kidsandIvanka Trump’s three kids.

Lara and Eric announced they were expecting their first child in March 2017, with Eric telling PEOPLE the couple found out on his birthday. Lara shared at the time that she was “exhausted” in the early stages of her pregnancy.

“Until the fatigue hit, I didn’t believe it would actually happen to me,” she said. “It really affected me. But I’m feeling really good now.”

Lara added that she knew she “always wanted kids someday" and that early on, they were considering the name Charlie, which they had already named one of their two dogs.

Eric Luke Trump, whom the family calls Luke, was born on Sept. 12, Eric announced onX(formerly Twitter).

“[Lara] and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric ‘Luke’ Trump’ at 8:50 this morning,” he wrote, sharing the first photo of their newborn.

Now 7, Eric is following in his father’s passions. After a January 2024 ride, Eric posted aphotoof the two in their helmets on their bikes on Instagram, writing, “Teach them young!” in the caption. Theyenjoyed another ridein May 2024.

Lara first announced she wasexpecting her and Eric’s second childin April 2019 in a post onX.

While she was pregnant, Lara spoke toHello!about how she thought Luke would cope with becoming a big brother at 2 years old, admitting that he was more interested in “kicking a soccer ball and zooming his trucks” around than the impending new addition to their family.

Carolina Dorothy Trump was born on Aug. 19, 2019, with her parents sharing the news on X.

“@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to welcome Carolina Dorothy Trump into the world,” Eric wrote on X. “We love you already!”

His older sister reshared thepost, writing, “We love you Lara, Eric, (big brother) Luke and sweet Carolina!”

Carolina now enjoys spending time with her older brother on thesoccer fieldandbiking with her mom. Eric’s family lives in Florida, but he and Lara take their kids on vacation to places likeski resortsand their maternal grandparents’home in North Carolina.

In March 2024, Carolinajoined her mom on the runwayfor a charity event for Big Dog Ranch Rescue where the two walked down the catwalk together alongside a dog. Trump also made an appearance at the event.
