Fantasia Barrino's 3 Children: All About Zion, Dallas and Keziah

Fantasia Barrinowants to change generational patterns with her three children, Zion, Dallas and Keziah.

The season 3American Idolwinner had her first daughter, Zion, with Brandel Shouse in 2001. Ten years later, she welcomed a son, Dallas, with Antwaun Cook. Fantasia’s youngest child, daughter Keziah, was born in 2021 to her and her husband, Kendall Taylor.

Fantasia has also been open about her parenting style and what she hopes her kids learn from her and Kendall.

“I want to break generational curses,” she told PEOPLE of raising her kids in April 2023. “When it comes to my family, my girls, my children, I want to show them that no matter what [you’ve] been through, you can always get back and go after it again, and that’s what I am doing.”

Zion Quari Barrino, 22

Fantasia had her first and only child with Brandel Shouse, daughter Zion Quari Barrino, when she was 17 years old.

Zion has been involved in her mom’s career — as a teenager, she starred in her mom’s 2017 music video for “When I Met You” as a younger version of Fantasia.

The actress' firstborn went on to create her own makeup line, Quari Beauty, in December 2022. Her mother supported her at the cosmetics launch, hugging Zion when she broke down in tears while thanking her guests, per a sweetYouTube clip.

“She is her mother’s child!” Fantasia exclaimed before asking the DJ to kick off some music.

The Life Is Not a Fairytalestar alsoposted a photo of the mother-daughter duo on Instagramto celebrate her daughter’s business.

“She was my motivation to go for all I did. She was my biggest investor. Now I’ll invest back into her,” Fantasia wrote in the caption of her daughter.

Dallas Xavier Barrino, 13

On Dec. 13, 2011, Fantasia welcomed her son, Dallas Xavier Barrino, with runner Antwaun Cook.

“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” Fantasia told PEOPLE at the time.

Dallas' dad has bragged about his good grades. Antwaun shared a photo onInstagramof his son holding up an honor roll certificate in February 2022. “I’m already super proud of my boy but when he got in my car today waiving the honor roll badge of fame I got more excited than him,” the dad wrote in the caption.

Both Fantasia and Antwaun have shared sweet birthday tributes to their son over the years, too, giving some insight into his personality.

“This Kid is the Best and Today he turns 11 Years Old. I’ve never have any problems of my Lil Gamer so we built A Game Room for this Dude,” the mom of three wroteon Instagramin 2022. “Dallas Xavier we Love You.”

Antwaun shared asimilar messagefor his son’s 11th birthday, writing, “You’re so creative, loving, handsome, funny or corny depending on the day. Unconditionally, I love you with all my heart.”

Keziah London Taylor, 3

Fantasia and her husband Kendall welcomed Keziah London Taylor on May 23, 2021, after a three-year-long fertility struggle that the singer shared withTamron Hall.

Fantasia and Kendall tried to get pregnant for a few years before taking a break and removing the pressure to conceive. “I kid you not, I forgot about it,” the actress said in 2020. “And then I woke up one night, and I was just like, ‘Something’s different.’ " A pregnancy test confirmed Fantasia’s feeling that she was expecting.

“I couldn’t take her home with me and I couldn’t protect her and I couldn’t hold her every day — that was hard for me,” she said in 2023. “[It was] the hardest thing I think I ever went through.”

“Now to look at her telling us what to do, it’s even more fire for me to keep on moving,” Fantasia told PEOPLE in 2023. “She’s a constant reminder to me and my husband that everything is going to be OK because she fought through that NICU. She’s a tough cookie and is still running the house.”

Keziah attended her first day of school in September 2023, as seen in anInstagram postshared on the toddler’s account.
