Faster Pussycat Singer's Fiancée Posted Final Instagram Post Before She Allegedly Fell Off Cruise Ship

The fiancée of Faster Pussycat singer Taime Downe shared a final Instagram post beforeshe presumably died after falling overboardfrom a Royal Caribbean cruise ship last weekend.

Kimberly Burch, 56,shared a selfie on Sunday, March 2, of herself and Downefrom the ship, which was hosting The ‘80s Cruise, in which Downe’s band was one of several scheduled acts performing. The cruise began that day in Miami.

“We made it to @the80scruise,” the caption over the photo.

In an interview withTMZon Monday, March 3, Carnell Burch, Kimberly’s mother, said her daughter allegedly fell overboard. At the time, no body had reportedly been found.

According to TMZ, the circumstances around how Kimberly fell from the ship remain unclear.

Carnell told the outlet that Kimberly was allegedly drinking during the cruise, something that she claimed was uncharacteristic of her daughter. She added that Kimberly didn’t have any emotional issues that she was aware of at the time.

In aTuesday, March 4, post on X, a passenger aboard the cruise ship claimed they saw the band perform on the day of the incident.

“Got the confirmation they called off the search AND that the woman was the fiance of Faster Pussycat’s frontman Taime Downe!” the person wrote. “We watched them LIVE less than 90 minutes before she went overboard!!!!! Crazy.”

Kimberly’s family shared aFacebook poston Tuesday, paying tribute to their loved one.

PEOPLE contacted representatives for Faster Pussycat, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and Entertainment Cruise Productions on Wednesday but did not immediately receive a response.

The incident occurred approximately 20 miles away from Freeport, Bahamas, a U.S. Coast Guard spokesperson told TMZ. The agency assisted the Royal Bahamas Defense Force in their search for Kimberly.

In addition to Faster Pussycat, musical acts such as Squeeze, Tiffany and Men at Work were part of this year’s installment of The ‘80s Cruise, according toThe Hollywood Reporter.

PEOPLE reached out to Kimberly’s family for comment on March 5.
