A Florida grandfather is dead after an alleged altercation about music with his neighbor on Thanksgiving, authorities said.
According to the release, deputies arrived on the scene around 3:30 p.m. local time, when they found McLean, 71, “suffering from a gunshot wound." He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said its initial investigation found that McLean was shot during an “altercation” with his neighbor — who authorities did not identify.
The neighbor in the incident “cooperated with detectives” and claimed during an interview that he shot his neighbor out of “self-defense," police said.
Once the investigation is complete, police said “the case will be presented to the Broward County State Attorney’s Office to determine if criminal charges will be filed.”

Rose said that Hureleyon, a father of two grown sons and a grandfather, worked as a bus driver for a private company.
