In the photo Stodden can been seen in a white dress and veil holding a bouquet of red roses while kissing Safier, who wore a black suit with matching boutonniere.

A representative for Stodden told PEOPLE, “They are both incredibly happy to have said ‘I do’ and can’t wait to start the rest of their lives together. The ceremony was perfection.”

The couple exchanged “I dos” just six months after Jaredpopped the questionwith a5-carat, radiant-cut VVS diamondring at Beverly Hills' five-star Beverly Wilshire Hotel on June 11, the same day as their first kiss a year prior. He got down on one knee again when they arrived back at their Los Angeles home.

At the time, Stodden opened up to PEOPLE about their engagement bliss.

“My friend asked me ‘Is there anything in particular that attracted you to him?’ I said ‘Have you seen him?’ " Stodden told PEOPLE.

The model also mentioned that they were about to begin filming forIn the Red, a movie that Safier is directing.

“I can tell he wants to bring out the best in me,” Stodden said. “That’s what I love. He believes in me. He is a four-time Emmy-winning producer and director. I adore his creative mind.”

Because the movie is set in Italy, the couple told PEOPLE at the time of their engagement that they planned on honeymooning there.

“I want to be a good wife,” Stodden added before saying, “I am very hopeful for my happy ending.”

Just over a week before their wedding, the pair posted pictures onInstagramof a painting date they had together and their"mini stay-cation"at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, which included a rooftop dinner in the moonlight.

This marks the second marriage for Stodden, who previously tied the knot with actorDoug Hutchisonin 2011 at 16 years old. The former coupledivorcedin 2020.
