In a2019 interview— which came less than two months before he and Choi had married — Tuomy-Wilhoit revealed that he continued to get fan mail into his teenage years for his role onFull House, which came to an end in 1995.

“I’ve even had people like send me fan mail when I was a teenager saying like, oh this show saved my life, I used to have this really crappy situation and thisFull Housefamily became my family and it made me want to live still … like maybe people really want to be alive and positive.”

“I didn’t know [it was] impacting people the way that it did and it feels very rewarding that even though it’s like one of the more tertiary characters I’m still very proud of to be a part of that show.”
