General Hospitalis issuing a warning in the wake of thewildfiresacross Southern California.
On Wednesday, Jan. 8, the longtime soap opera series shared a statement on Instagram about several upcoming episodes that will feature fires as the deadly blazes in the Los Angeles area continue.
“Please keep this in consideration prior to tuning in,” the series added, before concluding, “Thank you for your understanding.”
In addition to school closures and evacuation orders, Hollywood has alsopressed pauseon production until the wildfires are under control.
Earlier today, PEOPLE confirmed that sets of ABC shows likeGrey’s Anatomy,Doctor OdysseyandJimmy Kimmel Live!will be dark.

These titles includeNCIS, which is filmed in Santa Clarita, prequel seriesNCIS: Origins, which is filmed on the network’s Paramount lot and late night showAfter Midnight. Their other L.A.-based shows likeThe NeighborhoodandPoppa’s Housewere not slated to film and will work remotely.
The Price Is Rightis also halting production until further notice.
