Liyana, who is one and a half years old, is believed to be with her mother Amanda Collins, the Worcester Police Department said, adding that the child might be in danger.

Police say they have tried in vain to contact Amanda about the missing child.

“Please we need your help!!!! This is my daughter and granddaughter. We need help to find this little girl,” she wrote.

On Friday, Flintre-sharedthe announcement, adding “someone knows something.”

Kaysha told the outlet that while the two were close as sisters, things began to change when she saw Amanda “lose her children” which she added “was a completely different side of her than I ever thought was possible.”

It wasn’t immediately clear under what circumstances Amanda had “lost” the children.

One of Amanda’s older children that the state previously took custody of is also pleading with the 38-year-old woman for Liyana’s safe return, WHDH reported.

“I really hope that Amanda has it in her heart to allow this child to be brought to safety and know that this child will have a community behind it, to protect it, and that whatever situation is happening right now, I understand that it’s scary but please just do the right thing,” said the daughter, who is now an adult but was not named in the report.

“You know what’s right. You know in your heart of hearts. Just please,” the woman said.
