Hilaria Baldwinis sharing how her husbandAlec Baldwin’strial affected their entire family — including their oldest daughter, Carmen.

On this week’s episode ofThe Baldwins, Hilaria shared that when Alec was first tried forinvoluntary manslaughter in theRustcase, their 11-year-old daughter Carmen was devastated.

“When Alec was charged the first time, Carmen would not be alone in a room for months. We had to move a bed into sleeping with the boys,” Hilaria says in a confessional. “She has a fear of: ‘Is our family going to be torn apart?’ So with that, there is an awareness of what’s going on.”

“And I said, ‘Yeah, you should.’ And she just lost it,” the mom of seven says. “So you know, we’ve never even been away from each other for three weeks. So if he goes there, that’s never even happened.”

On Oct. 27, 2021, Alec was holding a prop gun on the New Mexico set of the Western when it discharged, killing cinematographerHalyna Hutchinsand injuring writer-directorJoel Souza. He was later indicted for involuntary manslaughter and stood trial in July, wherethe judge dismissed the case with prejudiceafter Alec’s lawyers argued that the prosecutors withheld evidence.

Since the incident, Alec has insisted hedid not pull the triggerand could not have known there was live ammunition rather than dummy rounds in the gun.
