Hoda Kotb Can't Stop Laughing After Learning Jenna Bush Hager Accidentally Threw Out Her Christmas Gift

TheToday with Jenna & Friendsco-host,43,admitted during a round of“We Listen and We Don’t Judge”on Tuesday, Jan. 7, that she lost the Christmas present she recently received fromHoda Kotb— but Kotb couldn’t stop laughing at the hilarious revelation.

“You gave me a beautiful Christmas present this year and I think it somehow got thrown out,” Bush Hager, 43, said. “I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve been searching and searching and searching.”

Before that, Kotb, 60, told Bush Hager, “I borrowed your pink blazer a long time ago and now I own it. It’s mine.”

Their fun social media moment comes three days beforeKotb’s final dayon theTodayshow, following herannouncement in Septemberthat she’d be leaving after 25 years with NBC.

Kotb said onThe Kelly Clarkson Showon Monday, Jan. 6, that after her exit, she plans tostart a wellness appand a company, which will involve retreats and a podcast and will launch this spring.

“We can get together, do things that I love and when you’re done, it’s not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun, but this is something that when you leave, you’ll go like, ‘Oh my gosh. I feel transformed. I feel different,’ ” she toldKelly Clarkson. “So I’m in the building process of that.”

Bush Hager revealed that, after Kotb departs, she’ll have a lineup of celebrity guest co-hosts, includingTaraji P. Henson,Eva LongoriaandKeke Palmer. “Nobody will ever fill this chair, but the three of them sure can try,” Bush Hager said on the Today show on Monday, Jan. 6, calling January “our month of wonder women.”

TheLove Comes Firstauthor also shared with PEOPLE thatScarlett Johanssonwilltake a turn at co-hostbeginning on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

“Scarlett Johansson is the queen! First of all, I’ve been obsessed with her movies since forever. TheGirl with a Pearl Earring, I mean that shows you I’m a nerd who loves to read,” Bush Hager said. “She’s also a big reader, which will be so much fun. We have so much in common.”

“It’s just a wild dream. But that’s what I’m saying, the fact that she’s coming to give us a week of her time, she could be doing anything, is a testament to the show that we have built. So I am beyond thrilled. I cannot wait,” Bush Hager added. “We’ve never seen Scarlett Johansson host a daytime show before!”
