Hoda Kotbis ringing in the new year — family style.In pictures posted to her Instagram on New Year’s Eve, Hoda Kotb shared a glimpse at her intimate holiday celebration with her two daughters,Haley, 7, and Hope, 5.
In one of the photos, the mother-daughter trio posed on a couch, wearing sparkly outfits and tiaras and waving multicolored light sticks to celebrate the occasion.Behind them, large gold balloons spelling out “2025” hung from the wall. Kotb also shared a cute video of her daughters singing and dancing to Miley Cyrus’s “Party in the U.S.A.” during their family celebration.

After recently moving to a new home in the suburbs of New York City, Kotb and her daughters headed to the West Coast for their New Year’s Day celebrations. There, Kotb will mark a milestone as shehosts the Rose Bowl Paradefor one final time in Pasadena, Calif., on Jan. 1.
While out west for the parade, Kotb, 60, also shared in a Dec. 29 Instagram post that she and her daughters made a pit stop in Disneyland before their New Year’s festivities. Alongside photos of the family of three posing in front of the Disney castle and withFrozencharacters Elsa and Anna, Kotb captioned the post, “Oh, what fun!”
The 136th Tournament of Roses Parade marks Hoda Kotb’s 10th year hosting the iconic event. She shares the hosting duties with longtimeTodayshow personalityAl Roker, who praised their partnership, saying, “25 years I’ve been doing this and I can’t think of anybody better than you to do it with.“Kotb announced that she would be departing the Today show on Sept. 26. Kotb’s last day on the show will be Jan. 10, 2025.
During the Friday, Oct. 25 episode ofToday with Hoda & Jenna, Kotb shared that, while the thought of her leaving Today is “terrifying,” she feels exiting the show in the months to come is “exactly right.”“When those twinges come up, like, ‘Should you do it? Is it a mistake?’ … I remind myself that there’s still part of me that’s living right here,” she said. “And that’s normal. Like, let it be. So yeah, it’s scary. Yeah, it’s terrifying — it’s all those things … but it’s also exactly right.”
