Ice Spicehas finally addressed her New Year’s Eve performance that was cut short at Australia’s Wildlands Festival.
On Saturday, Jan. 4, the “Deli” rapper, 25, offered a brief apology to fans at a Perth, Australia concert for her late arrival and brief set on Dec. 31,Youth Jamreported.
“I’m sorry guys, surely y’all can forgive me," Ice told the crowd. “It was my birthday and it takes a long time to look like a Barbie.”
She then launched into her Nicki Minaj collaboration, “Barbie World.”

PerThe Guardian, Ice was one of the headliners for the festival on New Year’s Eve, where she was slated to perform a 30-minute set.
Although festival organizers gave her an extra minute to perform, she only ended up playing two tracks during her six-minute set.

Just one day after her performance on Saturday, Jan. 4 in Perth, Ice wrapped her current tour with a performance in Adelaide, ending the global run in support of herher debut album,Y2K, which landed at No. 18 on theBillboard200.
In an interview withBillboardin July, Ice said she was “so ready” to start working on another project.
“I am definitely so ready to start another album,” she told the publication. “So that’s great. I know my label is gonna be really excited to hear that.”
