As someone who’s 5’1” and curvy, I greatly understand the struggles of findingquality fashion worth adding to my wardrobe. I also don’t like fast fashion and prefer to buyjeans, jackets, and other pieces that are going to last. And since trends inevitably go out of style, I like filling my closet with basics that I can wear for years to come.

I just didn’t realize how many highly rated, valuable pieces of clothing I could find for $10 or less until I scoured Walmart’s new and best-selling fashion.  Better yet, I found various petite-friendly pieces worth adding to my wardrobe, especially before spring and summer arrive. I love the flattering style of this flare dress that’s both fitting and comfortable. It has a soft knit material that almost feels like loungewear, and its sleeveless design is ideal for warm weather but can easily be worn with tights and a jacket in the winter. It’s on sale for just $10 in black and also available in brown for $14.

A puffer jacket for just $9 sounds too good to be true, but that’s the case for this best-seller. I’m eyeing this jacket as a simple, stylish, and comfy way to layer my outfits for the rest of winter into spring. It comes in sage green, light blue, black, brown, and white and looks like it would retail for at least quadruple its price. The jacket also has pockets, a front zipper, and elasticized cuffs at the end of its long sleeves.
