One of the perks of my job as a shopping editor istesting a variety of products. In 2024, I tried over 100beauty,fashion, home, and travel finds, and a sizable amount was from my favorite under-the-radar retailer: Walmart.

I’ve kept an eye onWalmart’s offerings for two years now, so you could say I’m an expert on what’s worth buying, especially as someone who reviews the items first-hand and puts their quality to the test. After seeing it trending on social media, I debated purchasing a Baggu bag but couldn’t justify the price point at the time. This No Boundaries Hands-Free crossbody is nearly identical and a fraction of the price. I traveled with it on a two-week trip to Italy and could fit my essentials, including bulkier items like a camera, portable charger, and passport case — with room to spare.

Better Homes & Gardens Natural Tie Dye Ruched Faux Fur Throw Blanket

I own several throw blankets, but this Better Homes & Gardens faux fur style quickly became  my favorite. It feels and looks more expensive than its $25 price, and shoppers said it reminds them of a $200 Ugg blanket. In fact,I praised itso highly that many of my friends told me they ended up purchasing one and love it just as much as I do.

Quiet luxury fashion was a major trend in 2024, and I’m keeping it going in 2025. This long-sleeve cardigan is so well-made and feels like pricier J.Crew styles. The gently cropped hem is easy to style with high-waisted jeans, and the large matte gold buttons add a fanciful flair that makes it look way more expensive than $26.
