Influencer’s Husband Surprises Her with Gorgeous DIY Home Office After She Mentions Needing Her ‘Own Space’ (Exclusive)

Influencer Abbie Herbert received a special surprise from her husband after hinting that she needed her own space.

In aTikTokwith over 400K likes, Herbert shared how her husband, Josh, managed to create a DIY home office for her while she was away.

“I asked my husband if I should go to work at a coffee shop to have my own space and instead of saying yes he did this instead,” Abbie wrote in the text of her video before cutting to a shot of the room pre-makeover.

From putting together shelving and a desk to adding finishing design touches including a vase of flowers, Herbert’s room goes from a storage space to a fully-functioning home office in the span of the minute-long video.

“He did all of this while I was out of town, he surprised me with everything… how did I get so lucky" Herbert captioned her post.

“I went out of town for work and came home to a completely new office,” Herbert tells PEOPLE. “He picked and designed everything himself.”

“I was completely surprised and it was better than I could’ve ever imagined!” Herbert told PEOPLE.
