It’s hard to believe one ofSex and the City’s most shocking deaths is old enough to order itself a Cosmopolitan.
In the middle of a packed penthouse party, after being told not to smoke indoors, Lexi stands near a cracked floor-to-ceiling window and smokes a cigarette.

“When did everybody stop smoking? When did everybody pair off? This used to be the most exciting city in the world,” she vents.
Lexi continues to smoke as she finishes her rant, “New York is over. O-V-E-R. Over. No one’s fun anymore. What ever happened to fun? God, I’m so bored, I could die.”
It’s at that moment that Lexi twists her ankle in her heels and falls back. She quickly tries to grab the curtains, but they’re ripped down as she falls out the window, to the absolute horror of everyone at the event (including fellow guest star Wallace Shawn).

“When it aired, I was living in New York. I mean, I was like, ‘Oh my God, this must be like what really being famous is like’ because the next day, I live in the Village and it was like, everybody was shouting, ‘Hey queen! Can you do my outgoing message?’ This is back when we had voicemail. They were like, ‘Can you be my outgoing message and say New York is over!’ " she recalled.
“And that went on for like three months,” Johnston added. “I felt a little bit like I was the Beatles or something. I had never had a reaction to anything like this.”
