During the Valentine’s Day episode ofNot Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelceon Feb. 14, the 37-year-old former center for the Philadelphia Eagles and his wife Kylie, 32, discussed everything from thebest marriage advice they’ve gottento their favorite romantic comedies.

In an outtake from their podcast episode, Jason shared his thoughts on the famous love triangle fromTwilight, revealing whether he was Team Jacob or Team Edward while watching the film series for the first time.

Jason added that when he watched theTwilight seriesfor the first time, “I thought it was gonna be this back and forth that she had. But she was never into Jacob, she was into [Edward] the whole time.”

WhenKylie, 32, brought up Jacob imprinting on Bella’s daughter Reneesme inBreaking Dawn, Jason noted that it was “because he was head over heels” for Bella in the first place and concluded that the franchise was “a sad story for Jacob.”

Jason previously went viral for his hilarious breakdown of theTwilightseries on a June 2023 episode of theNew Heightspodcast he co-hosts alongside his brotherTravis Kelce.

After giving his honest reaction to the film series, he proceeded to showcase his impressive knowledge of all thingsTwilight, going into a full summary of the plot. At one point, Travis took his headphones off and scrolled through his phone while Jason continued with his recap.

While the formerPhiladelphia Eaglesplayer’s opinion of the series has shifted over time,Lautnerhimself is a big fan of Jason. Talking withPEOPLE as one of 2024’s Creators of the Yearalongside his wife Tay Lautner, who he co-hostsThe Squeeze podcast with, the actor said he would love to team up with the Kelce brothers for a podcast collaboration.

“Definitely wouldn’t say no to,” he told PEOPLE. “I remember when they started doing it and it just felt like something that sports fans maybe watch and I’m one of them,” Taylor said at the time. “I’m a diehard NFL football fan, so I would watch clips and episodes of theirs.”

Tay also added that “[Jason and Travis] really figured out a way to bring everyone into it.”
