On Thursday, Dec. 19, the Amazon founder penned a sweet tribute to his fiancée on her 55th birthday, celebrating her and her recent accomplishments — including authoring children’s bookThe Fly Who Flew to Space.
In the heartfelt post, Bezos, 60, added a photo alongside the author and a cardboard cutout of the main character of her book, Flynn the fly.
Sánchez also reposted the photo to her Instagram Stories and wrote, “My love🤍❤️.”

Sánchez published her first book in September and revealed to PEOPLE ahead of its release that shelives with dyslexia. “Never in a million years did I think a dyslexic kid from Albuquerque would ever be an author," she said.
Just a week after her book hit shelves, it reached theNew York TimesBestseller list.
Not only did she publishThe Fly Who Flew to Space, but she was also honored at the 21st Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards. At the January 2024 event, shereceived the Elling Halvorson Vertical Flight Hall of Fame Awardfor her expertise as a helicopter pilot and aviation businesswoman. Sánchez founded the aerial filming companyBlack Ops Aviationin 2016.
Along with celebrating her own accomplishments, Sánchez also supported her children as they embarked on new stages of their lives. In May 2024, she celebrated thecollege graduationof her oldest child, Nikko. She shares Nikko with her ex-boyfriend, former NFL playerTony Gonzalez.
More recently, on Dec. 15, she celebrated her younger sonEvan Whitesell’scollege acceptanceto the University of Miami. Sánchez shares her 18-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter, Ella, with ex-husbandPatrick Whitesell.
