Jenn Tran Calls Sasha Farber the 'Best Roommate I've Had Yet' as Romance Rumors Continue to Swirl (Exclusive)

The Bachelorettestar spoke with PEOPLE atKathy Hilton’s annual holiday partyon Tuesday, Dec. 10. The reality star dished about her living situation with theDancing with the Starspro but played coy about whether they are dating after months of speculation about their romantic connection.

“He’s been a really great roommate who feeds me,” she says. “You know, I get some animal therapy from his dogs, who are really cute. So yeah, he’s been a really good roommate. The best roommate I’ve had yet.”

When asked if she is looking for a romantic connection following herintense breakup with Devin Strader, who she got engaged to at the end of her time as the season 21 Bachelorette, Tran explains that she is focused on prioritizing herself.

“I am looking to continue to learn about myself,” she shares. “I’ve learned about myself so much in this past year — more than I thought — so I’m just excited to see what else I’m going to learn about myself in this next year.”

Still, it wouldn’t hurt to have some love this holiday season. Tran notes that she doesn’t want any material gifts, but she does have something else in mind.

“I really have everything that I could possibly need after the year that I’ve had and so all I need are some nice hugs and just some words of affirmation,” she says.

Tran and Farber first met when they were paired as partners on season 33 ofDWTSin a last-minute decision followingThe Bachelorette’s After the Final Rose bombshell segment where Tran revealed she and Strader’s messy split.

Although they got eliminated mid-season, the two continued to spend time together and document their lives on TikTok, with Tran joking that “private rehearsals” were starting. She even posted a video of her knocking on Farber’s door, with the sound, “When one door closes, another door opens.”

The pair then sparked more rumors when it appeared that Tran was living with Farber,which she later confirmedduring an appearance onBrandi and Tish Cyrus’ podcast,Sorry We’re Cyrus.

After Brandi questioned if there was “dating potential” between Tran and Farber, Tran teased, “I can’t predict the future in any way” before adding that they were “BFFs for life.”

Tish then jokingly called Farber Tran’s “boyfriend,” to which she replied: “If you say boyfriend, he’s going to freak out.”
