Jenna Dewan Says Her Mom Wants Her to 'Speed' Up Wedding Planning with Fiancé Steve Kazee

Jenna Dewan’s momNancy Smithcan’t wait to hear wedding bells.

The Rookiestar, 44, shared in an interview withE! Newsat the LA Art Show Opening Night Premiere Party on Wednesday, Feb. 19 that she and fiancéSteve Kazeeare slowly — but surely — moving along with the wedding planning process.

“We’re like two little turtles,” she said. “My mom is like, ‘Can you speed this up, Jen?’ But it’s a lot of schedules and a lot of timings to put together.”

Dewan — who shares daughter Everly, 11, with ex-husbandChanning Tatum, whom she finalized her divorce with in September 2024, and son Callum, 4, and daughter Rhiannon, 8 mos. with Kazee — said that “scheduling” is the toughest part so far of wedding planning.

“Everything in my life right now is like those whiteboards where you’re like, ‘So-and-so has this, and Callum has this,’” she explained. “We’re just scheduling, which is not my forte. So, I have to work really hard on that. That would be the most challenging is finding the right timing for everyone involved.”

Despite still working out the scheduling of everything, the actress did tellE! Newsthat she and her fiancé have locked down some details for the big event — including the venue.

“I think we know where,” Dewan shared. “I think we have at least found that.”

The other detail that she’s been working out is her dream wedding dress. She explained, “[I’ve been] screenshotting wedding dresses on Instagram, and sending it to [my stylist] Jordan Dorso.”

Dewan — who has been engaged to Kazeesince 2020— previously opened up onThe Jennifer Hudson Showin March 2024 about why it took her and her fiancé so long to walk down the aisle.

“But now we really are wanting to and really are setting the date and getting it going,” she added.

She also said that she doesn’t regret holding the wedding sooner, as her newly-born daughter Rhiannon would now be able to be a part of the ceremony.
