Jennifer Garner Wore This Cozy Winter Classic Twice in One Week — and in Totally Different Ways

This week, theFamily Switchactress was spotted wearing acozy turtleneck sweaternot once but twice while running some last-minute holiday errands in Los Angeles. While she first wore an army green sweater styled with straight-leg blue jeans and white sneakers on December 13, she wore a gray version of the closet staple in a totally different way (with trousers and platform shoes) just two days later.

Garner’s timing couldn’t have been better: I’ve been looking for cozy outfits to wear during the no man’s land period between Christmas and New Year’s Day, and these more than fit the bill. I practically live in sweaters come winter, and Garner’s outfits definitely convinced me to pick up this similar turtleneck style while it’s on sale. Nearly 4,000 Amazon shoppers have given the cable-knit sweater a perfect rating and it comes in 23 colors — including green and gray shades that resemble the actress’ tops. What’s more,one reviewer saidit “feels like a warm hug, making it perfect for chilly days.”

It’s hard to go wrong with a classic pair ofstraight-leg blue jeans, which is why I’m taking a page out of Garner’s style book with these Levi’s jeans. Their ankle-skimming length looks just like the ones she wore while out in Los Angeles, and their metallic silver side stripe adds a festive twist to basic denim. Style them with sneakers and a sweater for casual occasions, or dress them up with pointed-toe heels and a sparkly blouse for New Year’s Eve.
