TheHustlersactress stepped out earlier this week in a fuzzy topper featuring the pattern that I, for one, could spot from a mile away. She wore a black and brown leopard coat that was practically the same one my mom used to wear any time she left the house during frosty weather, and it made me want to quickly purchase one of the potential coats that are sitting in my virtual shopping cart.

The bold pattern is a neutral, according to my mother, who wore her coat until she couldn’t any longer — at least a decade — and who got compliments on it for most of that time. It’s also having a breakout year withSandra Bullock,Rihanna, andBrittany Mahomeswearing it.

I’ve also been wearing cheetah jeans non-stop, so I’m thinking I may have to get a coat for myself, too. This one looks a little less bulky than J.Lo’s, so it would probably be better for west coast weather. ThisAbercrombie versionlooks warmer, so it might be better suited for my mom who’s still stuck in cold temps. It also looks morelike Rihanna’s, who showcased that a statement coat even does wonders for a sweatsuit.

A crisscross waist is a pretty clever move since it doesn’t drastically alter the classic look of jeans — it just puts a slight spin on them. This pair has a few tiny rips throughout and some slight fading for a worn-in effect. Plus, there are belt loops for a tighter fit.
