Jhené Aiko and Her Children Safe After House 'Burned to the Ground' in L.A. Fires: 'Starting from Scratch'

Jhené Aikohas lost her home in theL.A. fires.
On Thursday, Jan. 9, the R&B singer, 36, revealed that she and her sonNoah Hasani, 2 — whom she shares withBig Sean— and daughter Namiko Love, 16, are safe — but their home has been destroyed.
“praying for everyone this morning,” Aikowrote on Instagram.“those who lost their home, those who lost their life’s work, those who lost their life. praying for my city. praying for the wild life and lost pets. praying for the world 💙.”
She added: “let suffering be a gift; a lesson in compassion.”
In the second slide, Aiko revealed her and her children’s home “is gone.”
“burned to the ground with all of our things inside. Lord have mercy 🙏 Thankful we still have eachother 💙 starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy 💔,” she wrote.
“God bless us ALL 💙,” she captioned the post.
Since aseries of wildfiresbegan earlier this week, they have devastated swaths of Southern California, causing thousands of residents to evacuate as it rapidly engulfs large parts of the Los Angeles area.
Many of the more than 80,000 people that were displaced were celebrities who have called the area home for decades. Some, including Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Ricki Lake, Cary Elwes,Cameron Mathison,Spencer PrattandHeidi Montag, have confirmed that their homes have been destroyed.

The first fire began in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The Hurst Fire, which began on Tuesday evening, grew to about 500 acres in size and was still going around 5 a.m. on Wednesday. A fifth blaze, the Tyler Fire, sparked west of L.A. near Coachella.
