As of Thursday afternoon, uncontrolled wildfires across the city had forced the evacuation of over 100,000 residents andleft at least five dead— though Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said the death toll remains unknown.

On Wednesday evening, news broke that a sixth fire had sparked in the Hollywood Hills — prompting the evacuation of several iconic L.A. landmarks, including the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
