Kaitlyn Bristoweis defending her decision to get plastic surgery.
With an Instagram post shared on Dec. 30, theBachelorNation star, 39, shut down criticism about her appearance and her enhancements.
“Believe it or not I’ve done more work on the inside. You can’t physically see that, but I’ve never felt it more,” she wrote. “To the people who always wanna comment, ‘You were so much prettier before all the work you’ve had done,’ I suggest you do the important work on the inside before judging what’s on the outside.”
The Instagram reel was set to Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden’s song, “We Are Not the Same Person.” Two photos of Bristowe — one appearing to be from 2015, when she first debuted onThe Bachelor, and one that was taken more recently post-procedures — flashed across the clip while the lyrics played.

When sheclapped back at critics commentingon her looks in 2021, Bristowe disclosed that she’d gotten a brow lift, brow microblading, lip filler and teeth bonding, which she again confirmed in her most recent post when a fan asked if she’d ever gotten veneers. Three years ago, she also joked that contouring, aging and having darker hair were reasons why she looked different in the years since her television debut.
“So sick of women commenting on my face. Jesus,” she alsosaid at the time.
Earlier this month, theBacheloralum revealed she’d gotten blepharoplasty, a reconstructive surgery that enhances the appearance of eyelids. She shared raw post-operation images to Instagram on Dec. 8.
Per theMayo Clinic, the procedure “is a type of surgery that removes excess skin from the eyelids,” adding that “sagging skin around the eyes can reduce side vision (peripheral vision), especially the upper and outer parts of the visual field,” with aging. The site states that it can also “reduce or get rid of” said vision difficulty.
Bristowe hasn’t shied away from conversations around plastic surgery on her podcast either.
In a June 18 episode ofOff the VinewithJanice Dickinson, the two got to talking about going under the knife.
“What point in your career were you like, ‘I’m gonna start getting surgery done?'” Bristowe asked the formerAmerica’s Next Top Modeljudge, who said herhistory with cosmetic proceduresstarted when she was 32 and dating Sylvester Stallone in the ‘90s.
A mini face lift and a revision to her then-30-year-old breast augmentation (which was featured in anepisode ofBotched) are some of the procedures Dickinson has undergone for aesthetic reasons.
