Kaitlyn Bristowe Shares Raw Post-Op Photos from Eyelid Surgery: 'Everyone Wants to Look Like This'

On Sunday, Dec. 8, theBachelorettestar, 39, posted some post-operation photos onInstagramafter telling fans she’d had an “upper bleph” (blepharoplasty) on the social media site the day prior.

In one snap, Bristowe posed for a selfie in bed while showing followers her swollen, pink eyelids, while another image showed her in a medical facility still wearing her blue hairnet.

A video then showed somebody pushing Bristowe out of the clinic in a wheelchair. She was still wearing the hairnet and seemingly joked about it being “embarrassing” as the person filming laughed behind the camera.

Per theMayo Clinic, a blepharoplasty “is a type of surgery that removes excess skin from the eyelids,” adding that “sagging skin around the eyes can reduce side vision (peripheral vision), especially the upper and outer parts of the visual field,” with aging.

“Blepharoplasty can reduce or get rid of these vision problems. The surgery can also make eyes look younger and more alert,” the site states.

Bristowe’s latest post comes after she shared a photo of herself in a bed at a medical facility, wearing a hospital gown and a blue hairnet. In the photo shared toInstagramon Saturday, the reality star had her eyes covered as she relaxed while seemingly hooked up to a monitor after she underwent the procedure.

In the post, theOff the Vinepodcast host revealed that she wasn’t the only one in the household recovering, as she said hertwo golden retrievers, Pinot and Ramen, had also had stitches.

“And my back yard is torn up!! (Which means dogs go on leashes every time they have to go, even if it’s 3am),” she added, sharing a video of the work being done outside her home.

“So, good news. I saw a dog today. Have you ever seen one? You probably have. Anyways,” Bristowe concluded in the caption.

Bristowe has been open about the procedures she’s had through the years,clapping back at fans in 2021after people commented on how “different” she looked since she first appeared onThe Bacheloretteback in 2015.
