Kate MiddletonandPrince Williamwere feeling the love during their day out in Wales.

On Feb. 26, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited Pontypridd in south Wales in the run-up to St. David’s Day, a day of national celebration, on March 1. It was their first joint trip to Wales in over a year after Princess Kate, 43, reduced her royal responsibilities for most of 2024 after announcing last March that she was undergoingtreatment for cancer. (She shared in September that shecompleted chemotherapyand relayed on Jan. 14 that she isin remission.)

“Thank you, Pontypridd!” the couple’s office wrote below the seven-second video, adding emojis of a waving hand and the Welsh flag. Kensington Palace also shared the same message in Welsh in the caption, continuing a tradition around William and Kate’s visits to Wales.

While the Prince and Princess of Wales were known for typically keeping their affectionate gestures out of the public eye, they have shared more glimpses into their love story in recent months. In a Sept. 9 video that revealed Princess Kate had completed chemotherapy, the couplepacked on the PDAin several scenes.

The duo even marked Valentine’s Day with aloved-up photofrom the same video showing William kissing his wife’s cheek as she laughed and held his hand.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” Kate said in the Sept. 9 video. “Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

She added, “The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face-to-face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.”
