The early 2000s nostalgia is in high gear at the2025 Golden Globe Awards.
Kathryn HahnandKate Hudson, longtime friends who have worked together several times over the years since 2003’sHow to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, had a sweet reunion on the red carpet that almost saw Hahn, 51, abandon her pre-show interview for a hug.
“I love her so much,” Hahn told ET as she explained to viewers who couldn’t see Hudson. “That’s who I was freaking out over.”
Reflecting on the 2003 film in which she starred as one of Hudson’s best friends and one of the coworkers who helped her try to win overMatthew McConaughey, which was her “first movie,” Hahn raved of Hudson. “She really did raise the bar [for me].”

Nearly 30 years after starring in the hit rom-com together, the actresses teamed up again onGlass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and they both raved about getting to work together again.
“It turned into years where we hadn’t seen each other and when I saw her, when I was reunited with her on this movie, it was like we’d never left,” Hudson toldThe Hollywood Reporterof being on camera with Hahn again. “I feel like we are soul sisters. It’s the best.”

Another reunion could be on the horizon, too, given that Hudson recently admitted thatboth she and McConaughey, 55, are both open to a sequel toHow To Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
“I think they’re always thinking about that,” she toldAndy Cohenof a sequel onWatch What Happens Livein July.
“All that matters would be the script and if Matthew and I were into the script,” she continued. “I think we’re both totally open, it has just never happened.”
