Palmer’s copper-red hair was styled into a voluminous bob and she wore bold red lipstick for a pop of color.

Curtis, 66, wore the gown at the First Annual American Cinematheque Award Salute to Eddie Murphy on February 28, 1986. For the event, which took place at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, the Halloween actress also wore black opera gloves as well as oversized gold earrings.

Palmer’s stylist,Molly Dickson, shared a throwback photo of Curtis in the Chanel ensemble to her Instagram Stories.
