Kelsea Ballerini Reveals Her 'Favorite' Dinner Surprise for Chase Stokes: 'Yes, I Am That Bitch!'

Kelsea Balleriniis a woman of many talents.

In a new cover story interview forByrdieon Tuesday, Feb. 4, the country star opened up about embracing a season of normalcy in her relationship withChase Stokes— and how cooking steak for him is her “favorite thing ever.”

“I’ll go to the butcher, I’ll get a good cut of steak, I’ll come home and marinate it in the fridge — I won’t even tell him," Ballerini, 31, told the outlet.

She continued, “Then it’s dinner time, and I just pull out this marinated steak, and I’m like, ‘Yes Iamthat bitch.’”

For Ballerini, their cozy nights in are just as special as their glamorous nights out.

“Things that seem mundane suddenly become like, ‘OK, you’re such an important part of my mundanity now,'” the “Peter Pan” singer said.

Ballerini added: “And it doesn’t take away from the moments that are big, like getting to show up to a premiere for him or him being at Madison Square Garden."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Ballerini opened up about balancing the privacy of their relationship with stardom.

“I think it’s always an ebb and a flow,” she said, adding that “from the jump, we’ve always been really proud of our relationship.”

However, two years in, they’re “really building our life together. The more into that season we get, the more protective we are.”

Ballerini and theOuter Banksstar, 32, celebrated their two-year anniversary on Jan. 7 and the “Blindsided” singer shared some never-before-seen photoson her Instagramto mark the occasion.

“two years of catching each other in countless cities, perfecting a chimichurri steak, and creating a world that revolves around dogs,” wrote the “Sorry Mom” artist. “love you so, teammate.”

Stokes also posted about the anniversary onInstagram, writing alongside a series of photos, “2 laps around the sun with you, i love you kb 🤍(especially when you laugh so hard you wheeze, and 8 am dance routines to your toothbrush).”
