Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick Snuggle Up in Valentine's Day Photo: 'Love You Always'

Kevin Baconis showing he has far less than six degrees of separation from wifeKyra Sedgwick.

Bacon, 66, posted asweet vintage photoof the actor cozying up to Sedgwick, 59, on Instagram in honor of Valentine’s Day.

“Love you always, @kyrasedgwickofficial. Happy #ValentinesDay,” Bacon captioned the photo.

The pairfirst metin 1978, when Sedgwick approached Bacon between performances of his off-Broadway playGetting Out. The two fell in love on the set of the 1988 filmLemon Skyafter Bacon invited Sedgwick out to dinner.

Sedgwick recently paid tribute to the 37th anniversary of the film, and the start of their relationship,on social media.

“Happy 37th Anniversary to our first film together #LemonSky! Don’t know how life would’ve turned out without ya,” she wrote.

The post included two throwback photos of herself and Bacon: a film still of the pair in bed in 2004’sThe Woodsman, and a second pic featuring a Polaroid of the two actors on the set ofLemon Sky.

The couple got engaged in December 1987, only months after they began dating, and wed in 1988. They share two adult children Travis, 35, and Sosie, 32.

TheFootlooseactor told PEOPLE in March 2023 that his connection to Sedgwick was trulylove at first sightwhen he first saw her on the set ofLemon Sky.

“I was knocked out,” he said. “I thought she was amazing.”
