Kim Kardashian Attempts to 'Break the Internet' in Sexy New SKIMS Swimwear Collection

On Monday, March 3, theKardashiansstar, 44, announced the launch of SKIMS' new swim shop, which is set to drop on March 6.

“Three years after its breakout launch, the game-changing swim that started it all is back to break the internet (again),” Kardashian wrote in anInstagrampost, alongside photos of her steaming-hot beach photo shoot to show off SKIMS' new swimwear looks.

According to a press release from the lingerie and swimwear company, the newest swim collection is returning just in time for spring with new styles, prints, necklines and silhouettes. The line will feature “versatile pieces perfect for a getaway wardrobe,” including bikinis in five different bright colors and animal prints — the colors are named champagne leopard, champagnetiger, snow, tide, and SKIMS’ signature onyx as a black neutral — as well as perfectly matched coverups.

As for the photo shoot that aims to “break the internet” again, Kardashian teamed up withPlayboyphotographer Ana Dias and snapped these latest photos on a Bahamas beach. The “electrifying imagery,” as the press release dubs it, show Kardashian in new pieces like the cami top and string bikini bottom in champagne leopard.

“Whether you’re lounging poolside or basking on the beach, this collection is your passport to a sexy getaway wardrobe that exudes confidence and effortless style,” SKIMS says of the collection.SKIMS

According to SKIMS, the collection will feature swimsuits, terry and cotton jersey cover-ups and an array of poolside accessories

“It’s just a part of me,” she said at the time. “I take it really personally. It started off of my body and my shapes, and it’s very vulnerable.”

“It started off with simply finding shapewear that was a skin tone that would match my color,” Kardashian toldTIME. “I used to take my shapewear and dye it with tea bags and coffee in the bathtub.”

Kardashian knewthe brand was a successwhen she attended a Hollywood party where someone raised her top to show she was wearing a SKIMS product. “I still have, like,impostor syndromeor whatever,” Kardashian told the outlet at the time. “But I think that’s part of what keeps me going.”
